My concept for the Apple Podcasts 20th anniversary: a single iconic image of two microphones leaning in, mid-conversation, with the number 20 embedded in the composition. Light and shadow do the work, revealing the mics while simultaneously reading as the anniversary numeral.

The extended cut had a limited run on campus and at select events. Where the standard version leads with the full image, this one withholds it, slowly teasing the shapes of the microphones before the reveal lands. A deliberate nod to the way Apple has always introduced its products, letting anticipation do the work.
