A single continuous pullback through a series of vignettes, each introducing a central character: Vanessa Ives dealing tarot, Sir Malcolm Murray bent over his maps, Ethan Chandler in the heat of a gunfight, Victor Frankenstein at the edge of his obsession, and Dorian Gray in his element. One unbroken shot through the shadows of Victorian London, shot on location in Ireland.
