Built around a single line of dialogue: 'Do you believe there is a demimonde? A half world between what we know and what we fear.' The show's Victorian archetypes frozen in time, battling inner demons manifested as obsidian creatures breaking from their classical forms. Pre-Raphaelite naturalism, neo-classical allegory, and Géricault's Raft of the Medusa informing the visual language throughout.
