Concept frames for the open sequence for the latest Tomb Raider film. Portrayed is the long lost research office of Laura Croft’s father, filled with his notebooks, maps, and ancient artifacts. Through the expository sequence the viewer is given advance insight into the backstory that sets the tone for the rest of the film. All of the scenes were built in 3d space to give the director the best sense of content provided with lighting, color, and cinematography.
